GONERS TEAM
GONERS TEAM WAS FOUNDED IN 2023 BY CAMERON KANCZUZEWSKI, TRINITY KUMMER, AND FRANCISCO FLORES.

In 2023, Cameron Kanczuzewski started creating the GONERS VIDEO GAME as part of a video game design college class. Trinity Kummer had created the artwork for the main characters, WREN, FINCH, and CROW, a couple of years prior, and these character designs were the foundation that the rest of the game was built around. Trinity Kummer had also suggested to Cameron around that time that they should work together on a video game due to both of their unique skills that would lend themselves well to video game development.

Cameron and Trinity would soon recruit their friend and roommate, Francisco Flores, to the project to be the SOUND DESIGNER AND VOICE ACTOR for Hearticia. Using Trinity Kummer's Artistic intuition, Cameron's Video Game Design knowledge, and Francisco Flores' sound design capabilities, the trio created the first-ever prototype for GONERS.
In 2023, additional members would join the GONERS Team, including Othello Lett, Devin Barr, Jannah Barr, and Garrett Kaser, who would each lend their unique talents to the development of the GONERS game.

In 2024, GONERS was shown at the Capital Creative Showcase and would go on to win a Developer's Choice Award. From 2025-Present, the team continued to work on GONERS in their spare time while also working full-time jobs.
In 2025, Madelyn Kaye would join and lend her talents as a musician and songwriter to create the original soundtrack for GONERS.

In 2026, the GONERS Team applied and won a Scholarship to showcase their game at the 2026 Game Designer's Expo (GDC2026). GONERS Team is eternally grateful for all of the support and opportunities given to them by the Capital Creative Showcase and Sacramento Developer's Committee Devs.

FUTURE PLANS:
The GONERS Team is planning on releasing a free demo of the GONERS game on STEAM at some point in the near future, although a specific release date for the demo is not yet available. The GONERS Team is also hoping to catch the attention of publishers and investors at GDC2026 to fund the rest of the ambitious game.
